IT’S TIME TO SELECT THE 68TH ALICE IN DAIRYLAND AND HERE TO TELL US ABOUT THE PROCESS IS THE CURRENT ALICE IN DAIRYLAND, ZOEY BROOKS. ZOEY: THIS IS A 6 MONTH PROCESS WITH THE NEW ALICE BEING NAMED IN MAY. CANDIDATES FILL OUT AN APPLICATION, GO THROUGH NUMEROUS INTERVIEWS AND EVENTUALLY 5- 6 FINALISTS ARE SELECTED IN MARCH. MORE TRAINING IS DONE WITH PUBLIC SPEAKING PRACTICE AND LEARNING ABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOB. ZOEY TRAVELS ALL ACROSS WISCONSIN TO REPRESENT WISCONSIN AGRICULTURE. SHE MAKES AT LEAST HUNDREDS OF VISITS TO 4TH GRADE CLASSROOMS ALL OVER THE STATE AS THEY STUDY WISCONSIN AGRICULTURE. THE POSITION IS HELD FOR 1 YEAR. THE ALICE IN DAIRYLAND DUTIES HAVE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS, BUT THE MISSION REMAINS THE SAME- TO PROMOTE WISCONSIN AGRICULTURE. TIME FOR WEATHER ON THE 5’S. I’M AMY CARLSON. LIGHT SNOW CONTINUES THIS MORNING WITH UP TO AN INCH OF ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION. TEMPS WILL FALL FROM THE 20S INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS THIS AFTERNOON AS STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS BLOW. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 9PM TONIGHT UNTIL NOON TOMORROW. WIND CHILLS COULD DROP TO -30 OVERNIGHT AS SKIES CLEAR. SUNSHINE IS EXPECTED TOMORROW TIH BITTERLY COLD TEMPS. THE HIGH SHOULD ONLY
