Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary 2017 vlog + 3 FUN FACTS | Gold Coast | Australia | Cathy K.

This time I’m going to share my
experience in the Currumbin wildlife Sanctuary. We start off by dining at
the restaurant namely – Latitude 28 we ordered The Latitude Full House here and it looks
like this the steak is definitely the highlight. After having the meals we took
the tram to Broadbeach south and then change to bus 700 now this fella looks like an ostrich
right? but this is actually an Emu, the second largest bird in the world
interestingly, ostrich and emu are not from the same family in terms of biology kangaroo follows next why because
they’re both selected for the coat of arms of Australia. They were chosen
because they could only move forward instead of backward so as to symbolize
the progress of the nation. Here comes my favorite animal of all
times koalas – they normally sleep for up to 18
to 20 hours a day to conserve their energy for digestion now Wombats – although they seem puffy
and slow one that can actually run up to 25 miles per hour and maintain that
speed for a 1.5 minute and that’s just I was freaked out. (laugh) I can sense poison by just looking at them. That’s it for today, thank you for watching. I really hope you guys enjoy it
it will be more happy for me if you drop a like below or go for subscription. Anyway, I’ll see you next time, bye
