DAIRY IS SCARY! The industry explained in 5 minutes

Oh hey guys So since everyone is so busy these days I’m gonna explain to you how the dairy industry works in 5 minutes Like other female mammals, cows only lactate, or produce milk, when they’re pregnant or have a newborn to feed So the dairy industry inseminates or impregnates cows starting at the age of
around 12 months over and over and over again so they keep making milk. And it’s a rather routine process You see, first the industry jacks off a bunch of bulls sometimes using a hand or help from an electrical ejaculator which is basically a giant cow dildo that goes into the anus of the bull until he blows. And that semen is collected and then inserted into the vagina of a female cow with a long tube usually while she’s confined in what the industry calls, a rape rack. And sometimes, they put their fist right into the anus of the female cow you know, to loosen the area. to make the process as effective as possible “What are you you feeling for in there?” “It’s a bit jumpy.” “I think I would be if someone did that to me.” Bringing it out, and massages a little bit Just to relax everything and help that semen go where it needs to go You must be responsible for a lot of calves Yes And when that baby cow is born it’s pretty much immediately taken away from its mother and locked in a crate because if it stayed around mom it would drink her milk and that shit’s for us. And you see, a mother cow’s bond with her young is very strong and affectionate and she sometimes cries out for days in search of her baby [cow cries] But nobody gives a shit. [cow cries] If the baby is a male, his throat is slit, and he’s sold for veal. And if it’s a girl, she’s raised to be a milk machine like Mom. So dairy cows are continuously repeatedly kept pregnant their whole
lives to keep them lactating. This leads to premature aging, exhaustion, and mastitis, a painful yet common condition in dairy cows which is inflammation and
sometimes infection of the udder. Pus and blood in the milk of dairy cows is also common, so it’s usually filtered, but not completely. Because in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, up to 40,000 somatic cells are legally allowed in every millimeter
of cow’s milk. And in the United States, 750,000 somatic cells per milliliter. In Brazil, a million! And somatic cells, most of which in this case are white blood cells, are the same thing that erupt on the top of a big zit. So you could call it, pus. The more bacteria inflammation and infection the higher the somatic cell count. But don’t worry, there’s a limit. And when a dairy cow is finally too physically and emotionally exhausted to continue on she collapses. [cow moans] These cows are called ‘downers’, and they’re dragged out by whatever means to be killed and sold for beef. [cow cries] [cow cries] It’s common in the industry even on organic dairy farms for cows to “go down” after about four or five years of continuous milk production But peak milk production declines around four to five years anyways so if the dairy cows are still standing, they’re gonna be killed for hamburgers and beef regardless. You see, the dairy industry IS the meat industry. Almost every single dairy cow that you will ever buy milk that came from ends up being killed for meat. So if you’re a vegetarian, you might want to think about this, because at least when you’re being raised for meat you’re just raised for meat and killed. But when you’re a dairy cow, you are sexually exploited and emotionally and physically exhausted until you can’t take it anymore and then you’re killed for meat. Sounds worse to me. And the natural lifespan of a cow that hasn’t been completely exploited 20-25 years y’all. And as far as the calcium and protein thing goes Study after study after study has shown that those consuming the highest quantities of dairy actually have the highest cases of bone fractures and osteoporosis. And there are dozens of amazing plant-based sources of calcium and protein. So you really don’t need to suck the tits of a cow. I mean the dairy industry has wormed their way in to education systems nutritional programs and media to convince us that we need to drink milk. But when you’re in school learning about how good the milk is for you that’s not because there was a panel of people who care about your health that determined that… That’s cause the dairy industry paid lots of money for you and your children to hear that message in school. and on TV and on billboards and magazines and for your doctors who don’t have to take more than a few hours of a nutrition course to tell you to ‘drink your milk’. You see, rhino milk is for baby rhinos. Dog’s milk is for baby dogs. Cat’s milk for baby cats. Rat milk is for baby rats. And cow’s milk is for humans? No. It’s for baby cows. And vegans are crazy? Dairy is fucking scary. Try almond milk, hemp milk, soy milk, flax milk, rice milk, brazil nut milk, macadamia milk, cashew milk Any milk but dairy milk. 1. Aller voir la vidéo de https://youtu.be/gmVLEz9iRAs il raconte la vérité sur ce que raconte cette ***

  2. Very much to the point & sadly, disturbing. I don't consume a lot of milk, still there are better alternatives. Almond or soy milk. I'm going work on vegan lifestyle, also.

  3. They actually start impregnate them at like 14 months, they calf gets put away so it doesn’t get hurt and we know if it’s sick, sadly the cows do cry but the calf can easily get hurt. They calf does gets its mother’s milk but not a lot because for the regular dairy cow, Holstein, she can’t handle the calf drinking from her udder cause the calf is rough and it hurts the cow. Their put in a hutch, that has protection from bad weather and and outside for them, this easy we can see if their sick. And If it’s a male their kept till their weened, then sold. Also if the cow is milking blood or “puss” it’s put in a different container and thrown out, a lot of farms try to keep them alive, cows like being milk and it doesn’t tire them out, they will come into the parlor early waiting to get milked. Every farm is different so just because those farms are mean dosent mean the rest are to. A lot are nice to the cows and they arnt in dirty conditions, most farms scrape the manure out of the barns and outside areas and it’s used for fertilizer for the cows food. Don’t talk bad about something you don’t know about

Edit: plants have feelings to so we shouldnt eat plants either

  4. The dairy industry stimulates the economy. Dairy is good for you. How about instead of dropping dairy altogether, we strive to implement regulations to prevent the torture of cows as seen in the video? Now there's a thought.

  6. 99% vegan except for 1 flavor of yogurt..until about 6 months ago. Happy to say I'm now 100% vegan never to return. I've been aware of the many ways humans torture animals. The dairy industry is just the worst. I despise anyone that would hurt an animal let alone a huge industry that has somehow convinced ppl we need to drink another species milk. Ppl still blindly follow. It's sad.

  7. Is cruelty free milk a thing? Don’t cows still produce milk even if their baby feeds? This seems to be the case with human babies and women who deal with oversupply so technically if they’re pumping from mama cow as well as allowing the baby cow to nurse, mama cow will have enough milk for baby and humans.

  8. Have you ever been on a dairy farm? It’s clear to see you haven’t. This video shows and points out the worst of dairy farming, this is so far from the reality it’s not even funny. Farmers take massive pride in there animals and cows. It’s heartbreaking to see this video when you work so hard to keep them safe and love them so much. The cows without being milked would die from mastitis and other infectious. The truth is they can’t survive without us. Almond milk is bad for the environment, it takes 5 litres of water to grow 1 almond, in a standard serving of almond milk there is 23 almonds. Dairy milk is still the right choice, yes the cows go away from there mums at a young age, but most grow up along side there mums in the future. Bulls aren’t always sent to die and when they are it is a very peaceful death. But what is the difference when dogs, cats, chickens, etc, have babies they are all taken away at such a young age never to be seen again. Your a hypocrite, trying to sell your brand.

  9. i saw cows being trucked into a meat plant today and it made it me so sad. i eat meat and cheese and drink milk sometimes too, but it is so sad how it’s all done. i guess it would be better to have the animals on hand, keep them until they die and then eat the meat. that would be the best way. as far as the milk, it would be good to take some here and there. it’s all about the production and dollar. could be done in such a better way, but with all the regulations and laws people can hardly do it any other way

  10. We are not the only animal in the world that drinks another animal's milk.

  11. Ok, what about honey. That's for bees yet bears eat it. And eggs.. Those are chicken abortions basically. This nutrition asymmetry is found throughout nature and species. After all who are plants really for. Plants… I guess?

  12. Thank you for sharing, I am so, Happy, that I am Vegan, so, sorry, Sweet Cows, and sorry, God for not, listening when you said, you created, Me, your Child to be a Temple and not, your Beautiful Animals, Graveyard, too, for you never said, we were, Both 🙏

  13. Wrong Information. The way to keep a cow lactating is to never stop milking. Thats how they keep milking. Not by having babies all the time….

  14. This video is so wrong. I’m not kidding I live on a dairy farm. This isn’t how it works. I promise also our down cows anew because they are sick not overworked. We love or cows. We treat our down cows responsibly and we have 20 year old cows at our farm. Check you facts you crazy person.

  15. https://weanimalsmedia.org/2019/06/20/an-untold-story-of-dairy-production/

The truth from around the world including family run farms

The animal is the victim not the farmer

  16. So everyone stops drinking milk… farmers don’t make any profit… so if the farmers don’t make money off the cows there not going to farm them anymore and all grass land will become arable land so the cows don’t have grass to eat cows can’t eat= cows die. No profit= farmers don’t farm cows =cows die cows arnt impregnated= cows die end result of this vegan crap= NO COWS

  17. I just saw how bad the food in my plate that used to be a creature was treated and didn't affect me at all. Seems like milk and beef are too tasty for me

  18. Especially since I have a baby I became aware of the cruelty and craziness of the dairy industry. I am happy to say that my whole little family is living vegan and we are not financing this industry anymore. Thanks for spreading awareness <3

  19. OMG!!! THIS IS VERY UNTRUE!! THIS GIRL HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS TALIING ABOUT. That is why people like her need to have their account blocked. These are not facts! I grow up on a farm and I know how this works 100%. And this is bullshit!!

  20. this only happens on a few farms… most dairy farms are family owned and they keep the cows happy and healthy. Educate yourself

  21. One thing you forgot IDIOT. Humans evolved while eating meat & drinking milk of animals before kill them and eat them. So stop with the biased and false shit. I will invest to every dairy company because you are no better. You are all lying sacks of shit.

  22. You realise that if we no longer produce any sort of dairy product then cows will become endangered because there’s nowhere for them to live. Farms will become city’s and there will be no countryside. Also this shows bad people mostly and this isn’t what actually happens on a farm or to cows. If a cow has a limp we put them like 50 meters away at most from the cowshed and only milk them once a day. We spend thousands looking after our cows and making sure the calf doesn’t die.

Who’s going to keep 500 cows around if dairy products get banned? There’s no where to put them apart from on a farm but farmers won’t want them probably and replace them with something else that make money so they can FEED THEIR FAMILY.

  23. I’m so sad after seeing this video 😫😖😣 I’m vegetarian and I’m trying to go vegan for about two weeks now, actually I feel pretty good about it ❤️🐮❤️

  24. I’ve been vegan for 3 months now. I decided to make the switch when I researched the diary/meat industry. The cruelty these poor animals endure shocked me. I feel like a better person, both mentally, spiritually and physically.

  25. The comments saying that THEIR sweet little dairy farms they grew up on weren't like this are hilarious. Your tiny dairy farms of 15 cows aren't supplying the billions of pounds of cheese and milk the US consumes per year alone.

  26. I can't watch this video…wish that you had one with just your voice and no images. That would be enough and better for many people to be open to listen to the information.
