Definitions in the Field: Biodiversity

– Biodiversity is the variety of different organisms living in a
specific environment. My name is Pablo Borboroglu, and I am a National Geographic Explorer. Right now, we are in
the middle of Patagonia, this is the southern
extreme of South America, and we are facing the
southwest Atlantic Ocean. The biodiversity in this area is composed by fantastic species like penguins, killer
whales, right whales, and you have also animals on land, pumas, foxes, armadillos,
and all those species, they interact together
in the ocean or on land. (inspirational music)
